Curse of Chucky (2013)Edit

He, along with his family, come to visit Nica, after the death of his mother-in-law Sarah. He remembers the Good Guy dolls, and is surprised to see Chucky when they visit.

At some point in his marriage, he became suspicious of his wife being unfaithful to him with their nanny, Jill. He does confront Barb about a possible affair and threatens that if he finds proof, he plans to get sole custody of Alice. It is revealed later that he installed a nanny cam inside Chucky, to get proof of his suspicions. When Jill dies while video chatting with Barb, a power outage occurs. Barb goes to check on Alice, but Ian questions on who she is really checking on, hinting at the nanny cam. As Barb leaves the room, Ian puts in earplugs to tune her out.

Once Nica discovers that Chucky is the one committing the murders, she goes to Ian to help find Alice. Skeptical, he wheels her to the garage, then goes back inside to find his daughter, However, upon re-entering, he comes upon Barb and Jill's bodies. Ian now believes that Nica has been murdering everyone and had kidnapped Alice. As Nica uses a hatchet to try to kill Chucky inside the car, Ian returns to the garage and disarms her. With Nica unconscious from a heart attack, he secures her hands to a wheelchair. When she regains consciousness, Ian attempts to angrily interrogate Nica for Alice's whereabouts, but she pleads that it is Chucky. Ian tapes her mouth when she does not cooperate, and starts to look on his laptop at the cam to search for Alice on his own.

Looking at the nanny cam, he realizes that the murders were indeed caused by Chucky, but it is too late. Chucky pushes into Ian, who was hesitating in both shock and denial at what he just seen on his laptop, knocking him to the ground. Chucky grabs Nica's hatchet and hits Ian in the head with it, taking off his lower jaw and killing him instantly.

  • Ian is Chucky's 46th victim since Child's Play. He is also Chucky's final confirmed victim in the films (until Cult of Chucky comes out).
  • Ian said that his brother used to have a Good Guy doll, which causes Jill to say that her brother also had one.
