"Don't fuck with the Chuck!"
―Chucky to Sullivan.

Haskell Sullivan is the CEO of the Play Pals toy company, which manufactured Good Guy dolls.

Child's Play 2 (1990)[]

After Andy went to the media about his Good Guy doll being possessed by Charles Lee Ray, Sullivan wants to erase this bad publicity Play Pals received. He arrives at the Play Pals factory to consult with his assistant Mattson, who gives him some the good news that the police denied Andy's story, and his mother Karen, who backed up her son's testimony, was sent to psychiatric evaluation. However, Mattson admits now the company's biggest problem has been the rumours, as people believe someone at the company tampered with the doll's voice cassette. He then tells Sullivan the better news that they found the doll, Chucky, and that they are going to rebuild him to prove that there was never anything wrong with it.

When he and Mattson go to check on the rebuilding progress, they watch in shock when the machinery that puts the eyes in the doll suddenly electrocutes a technician, killing him instantly. This only infuriates Sullivan, not wanting more bad publicity for the company. He orders the accident to be covered up, and leaves Chucky to be disposed of by Mattson, telling him to "stick it up your ass".

Child's Play 3 (1991)[]

Eight years after Child's Play 2, Play Pals has recovered from the bad publicity arising from Chucky. Sullivan believes those bad years are far behind them, and decides to re-release the Good Guy dolls again as they were their best seller. One of his employees is concerned that the dolls would cause another child to be traumatized. However, Sullivan tells them that Andy was a disturbed boy who is ancient history and has long since been forgotten.

Upon reactivating the Play Pals factory, old Good Guys are recycled for their new ones. Unbeknownst to them, Chucky's remains are used to create the first Good Guy, which revives him as his blood is mixed into the plastic. Sullivan receives this first doll of the production line, and takes it home with him.

Death[]

Sullivan's death.

Later that night, Sullivan works on his computer in his apartment, unaware that Chucky has escaped from the Good Guy box. As he practices his golf swing, Chucky lets loose a jar of marbles causing Sullivan to fall on the ground, and then begins toying with his sanity as he activates an array of toys around the room. When Sullivan goes over to check two talking Good Guy dolls, Chucky takes his golf club and hits him in the head with it.

Sullivan attempts to flee, but Chucky throws a dart into his back, paralyzing him from the waist down. While on the ground, Sullivan crawls back to his desk and tries to call for help only to receive another dart to his hand, before finally being strangled to death with string from a yo-yo. Afterwards, Chucky steps over Sullivan's corpse and uses his computer records to relocate Andy, who has now been sent to a military school.
