He is best known for his roles as Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas, Prince Humperdinck in The Princess Bride, Jerry Dandrige in Fright Night, Kurotowa in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Dr. Gordon Mays in Chicago Hope, and Leon Shermer in Dog Day Afternoon.
